[Event] Father and I

although i can't provide a photo of me and my father, i can tell my story. when i was aged between 5-6 i remember every Saturday my father would give me £10 (coins only) and we would sit down and put the money in my piggy bank. i LOVED it, the sound of the coin vibrating used twinkle (chink,chink,chink) in my ear. every Saturday my father gave me coins and i will deposit it in my piggy bank, until it was full. My dad then took me to the bank and we put it in my bank account. we did this every time my piggy bank was full. my dad then took me to eat ice-cream i would always have the chocolate one and my dad would take the plain one. The reason my dad took me to the bank was so that when i was older i could pay for my college fees and pay for things i want to buy myself. Now i have a child myself and we still do the same, i give her the money , she puts it in her piggy bank and then once its full we deposit it in her bank account  =)

My father is no longer around but I have a story about him that motivates me through out my whole life. We where out at Lake Tahoe between California and Nevada. We were there for vacation and had decided to go canoeing. Just me and him. So we woke up super early and got to the boat house that was renting out the canoes, but no one was there so we had to stand around waiting for the place to open. I asked my dad where we were going to canoe to and he said "Idk..let's canoe to the end of the world!" Being only 8 I believed him with all my heart. So we got the canoes and started out into the massive lake. About an hour later we arrived at Emerald Bay. These massive rocks that stuck out of the ground and looked like they where trying to touch the sky. Me and my dad stopped and climbed the biggest that we saw. When we reached the top we just sat down and watched the morning fog move off the water and my dad said something I would never forget. He said "Zach.......when the world is biting at your heels trying to make you trip. Just remember that the world isn't what matters. It's the people you love. They will be your peace in this broken world." He died 2 years later. I didn't know what he meant but now I'm 17 and without a father in the house. I'm sad that he's gone but like he said, him and that moment on those rocks will always be my peaceful place.

Hi my names JC,I've got a pretty long story to tell.me and my dad have always had a love/hate relationship for as long as I can remember.my mom passed when I was 18,my father was/is a member of a big motorcycle gang and its been ttthat way forever,so I've lived a pretty rough life.I've fought to survive forever and anger and hatred is the only thing I can thank my dad for.but,I can say he prepared me for the real world and how to survive it.if he hadnt of brought me up the way he did,I surely would have perished by now.and for that I thank my dad.I remember he told me once,if you go thru life playing dead,you miswell shoot yourself now because everybody and the world will pass you by.and.

My dad told me a true story when he was a kid, he was flying from cancun back to montreal from spring break. At the time the weather was forecasted as a hurricane, and the pilot decided to try to race the hurricane out of cancun so he would not be grounded for a few days. Shortly after take off the hurricane caught up to their plane and destroyed one of the engines of the two-engine plane. It forced the plan to emergency land in miami with only one engine working. He landed safety, and ironically the plane was named the Terry Fox (google Terry Fox if you do not know who he is). Terry Fox had only one leg, having lost one to cancer so it's kind of a funny story. More to the point now everytime we fly somewhere I am scared to death and my dad laughs at me constantly because he has scared me into being afraid to fly. We had a crazy landing once in Vegas from San Fran, where the wind was 40 mph and our plane fell a 1000 meters right before we landed.. our plane we pitch black and when he landed the pilot had to land horizontally and tail whip the plane down the runway to be vertical.. My dad the entire time calm and laughing at me and his friend freak the hell out and turn white as a ghost.

One of my favorite memories with my day was going on a men's retreat with him for Father's Day. I was only 7 and I know dad probably could think of more enjoyable ways to spend 2 days of vacation then camping with a little kid. How special that time was - talking and doing "grown-up" things like setting up the tent, cooking breakfast, and failed fishing attempts! I was definitely a hindrance but dad let me "help" him despite lengthening even simple tasks. Looking back makes the moment even more special when I realize how hard he worked to bond and make the trip fun for me. Thanks dad for the love, care, an sacrifice! Growing up I didn't have a father I have my cousin Jeff who I call pops he's been the biggest father figure in my life he has made me who I am today and I have him to thank for that. He's been there when I was always getting into trouble telling me to change my ways and never gave up on me once I know he's not my real father but will always love him and think of him as one that's my story ty to all the men out there that actually take time and care for those who are yours and others in my eyes those are real men

My father had a car when i was little, anytime it broke down he use to fix it himself and i have to helping by getting the tools. He would get mad if i didnt bring the right one. These is a memorable monent about my father and me. Thx. Happy fathers day to all daddys.(to me too.)

Hi my name is Michael and my story is a short one. One time my dad took me to take your child to work day. I was 12 then and i always watched my dad drive and on this day he fell asleep in the car so i had to drive us home. I was driving a GMC Suburban so my feet could touch the pedals. I got pulled over and my Uncle's I.D just happen to be in the car. I used it and they let me go. I made it home but the car had a scratch on the back bumper. My dad woke up and looked at me and said", Micheal did you do this?“. And I said", Yeah" and then he look at me and said ",how?"

IGN: Hazari , Not able to provide a photo on this forums, When I was a wee little lad I rember waking up early every morning to help my daddy with his job, I would stir as he poured the imgridents, as I was storing my other brothers would wipe my sweat so that we would not blow up. My dad and I would cook meth day in and day out untill the day he went to prision, he was my role model I wished one day I could grow up to cook drugs just like him!! Ty lakoo and maybe you can cook with us! XD

i cant get a photo because im not i dont live wiith my dad but as during the summer i have pulled a nice prank on my dad pretending to ruin his whole day and he went to work until 8pm! me and m bro were hiding with ballons and fathers day card...so when he got home we made him dinner 2 plates of macaroni whit side of cheesy vegetables and biscuit and the main foood a juicy steak. i gave him the plate then i took his steak n licked it.....theen my dad got angry so i told him its ok ill make u happy again! =D so my bro gave me the fathers day ballons and card. i handed them to my dad and he said ty with a smile. then i went to my kitchen got the replacement set of food for my  dad andd told him got you dudes(accent) it was really fun :D

Calvin, you just a noob. I was wondering why sometimes your team posting thread under general and announcement. By right both are 'event'. Why can't you just post it either one of the category? Is it hard to do so? Lakoo forum looks like a shit. Your team failed in terms or responsibility, team work as well as manage (organise). Like i said before, if you don't know how to take care of your forum, just close it. No one will blame!
