The game is dead

Seems like old players are gone and on only when they think there's a level cap or special event. Empire Online seem to be losing long term players. There's nothing left in this game. Not many are opening chests because everything seems easy to get or too costly to open chests. Either this game isnt challenging anymore or just bores us all because nothing new in the game. We were promised new instances and lv60 cap but nothing has happened. This game is free but cost a lot just to make a char (skilling+equipments). Tax on trade post (more like a market instead of a place to trade) is outrageous. Some people have the gold for the items but cannot afford to pay the tax. When you think of it, lakoo is just draining our pockets by telling us to wait for things that might not happen as well as making us buy silver to pay tax for high price items in trade post. How I see it, the longer we wait, the more money spent. Some people have like 6+ level 55 chars in the game because they believe that lakoo will hold to their words and give us new things to do in the game. That's loyalty there. But if the loyalty is gone, the game will go downhill. Lakoo will soon lose lots of players due to many things like not answering our complaints to not keeping the promise they made to us. Anyways, I'm just bored of the game and thinking of quitting soon if there's nothing new in the game. I feel ridiculous to have spent more money on making new chars because I'm waiting around for lakoo's gm to answer my questions and to bring in new things to the game.  All the money I used on this game would've gotten me new hi-tech electronics to play with or I could've go on a nice vacation. I drop skills constantly and now I'm tired of spending money to up it. I hate having to drop full level 20 skills when I only want to drop one level of it, but there's no option to just drop one level of your skill. Another one of lakoo's idea to make money out of us. Just saying... economy is bad.. trying to save money but I'm carelessly wasting my money on this game..lol I feel stupid now when I think I'm wasting my money and time on this game and it's going nowhere at all. ..     Yuki, just want to let you know that you are not alone. At least I am having the same feeling as you. The game has lost its excitement and the new event is not helping.

    Started to divert my spending to other game and just come on to chat with my emp mates n friend.

    Customers serice sucks! So far nothing really new loke new instance, Pk- area, lv cap, new raise.... Wtf are u doing lakoo?

    Last 2 events aren't attractive enough. Rewards are lame and take less than 2 mins to finish them.
    Daily instances aren't fun anymore. The only reson players login nowadays is....to enjoy sex chat in wc channel(lmao)

    Same to me here my friend. Well promise is just a promise from Lakoo and they make it too easy to their users. I have no comment on the event released by Lakoo. But i am more to support. Lakoo never reply to their user on time. I remember that Lakoo changed their forum into a new one. At first i was thinking that Lakoo did improve their supporting role. Till today, there is no improvement from Lakoo at all. What i can say is the reason you move to the new forum is because of the negative message you have there. You're trying to wipe everything. Yet again, you failed.

    I have 2 questions to Lakoo:

    1) What is a forum for mean to you Lakoo?

    2) What is your response time for you to get back to your user?

    3) How long did your team need to look into this cs.lakoo.com forum? Once a week? Once a year?

     

    Next. Your game 'empire online' mentioned that your customer support line is temporary down.

    Question:

    1) What is 'TEMPORARY' mean to you Lakoo? How long?

    2) When is the date where you mention that the line is temporary down and will bring it back on?

    3) Did you really looking into it? If yes, why took so long? Repair a line need a week? If your answer is YES, imagine that if you don't have your mobile phone for a week. What you lose?

    4) The message did mentioned that if there is anything, please email to cs@lakoo.com . You can't even reply your user from this forum how would you expect your user to email to cs@lakoo.com? Because i don't think you will replying to your user still. So what is cs@lakoo.com for?

    Last, I am challenge you this simple task.

    1) If you dare to take it. Set a date when is your line is back on.

    2) Dare to reply to all my question above?

    finally there are people disputing like me. totally sicked. wasted so much time effort money in this game. but this game isnt prospecting well.

    keep giving excuses, empty promises, wrong information. why is the management team so weak?

    under paid staffs?

     

    the least lakoo can do is proving this forum to be customer service.

    HOW MANY OF OUR QUERIES WERE ANSWERED?

    SOME SUGGESTIONS WERE GIVEN SINCE LAST YEAR, PASSED ON TO RELEVANT DEPT?

    NOTHING WAS DONE.

     

    P.S : PLAYERS SHOULD DO THEIR PART IN CONTRIBUTING THEIR COMMENTS HERE. AND NOT RELYING ON US NAGGING AND DISPUTING ON LAKOO. DO UR PART IF U WANT THIS GAME TO IMPROVE AND GROW. GIVE LAKOO A BIG BIG PUSH!

    @ Ming- They're not underpaid lol.. With all the money they're making off of us, I don't think they're underpaid lol.. they just want us to complain and show is something that's supposedly a "bug" to excite us to wait some more and waste more money.

     

    @ Danielle - lol. you will have to rate to take them down on high rating. One negative rating hurts a lot on high rating stuff. Plus, you can add comments about the game with your rating there.

    they kept trying to differentiate English EO from Chinese EO.

    they have no intention to catch up with chinese EO to bring us good stuffs in the game at all.

    sighs............we're so sad and disappointed but they doesnt seem to CARE at all.

    this is so funny.

    we should start to drop game reviews on this game in forums, magazines and appstore reviews, since theres nothing much we can do in game now.

    @Ming & all players that played Chinese version of Empire Online:

    As you can see, we need to make sure the functions are running well in the Chinese version before we use them here. What I can promise to you is the English version is updating more frequently then other versions.

    There is one thing we need to clarify: ideas are not functions. There are a lot works to make your ideas become a function, besides, some of the ideas are rejected by our designers because there are rules to keep this game running so long. Some of the ideas may sound convenient to you. But they are against the basic rules.

    Well, being a customer service officer but lack of communication to your own customer means that you are being far slack off. Despite of just pass our comment to designers you should give us some respond( if you DID read it everyday). Says kos who is your customer, players or your designers?

    I don't know how many people in cs department but when I email them they give me a decent feedback...I'm thinking it's time to change the person in charge of this forum admin.

    Srry about my recent post. Kos is expert in making easy thing go complex and I was misunderstood.

    This is my version of what kos said
    "none of lakoo cs will butt in this general forum, if you guys have any query or complaint please post it in suggestion/bug report forum. It's your own dame fault that you post it in the wrong place. General forum ment to be something drama that you pathetics players enjoying everyday in world chat"

    So you guys should move to the "suggestion/bug report" if no one answer then we can start rampaging there.

    First of all thank you for you reply. Can i ask you, did you ask your manager to go through/ filter your post before you post it up?

    You need someone to email to you only you reply. I think you're in a higher level of your post. No push, no reply. Clap, clap, clap.

    If you did said it is part of the game, why you never reply your user thread here at all? Being part of the game isn't it should be more active then your user? Or you think your user thread isn't that interesting and good enough? Or you just plan to reply to those critical issue like silver/ gold coin issues? Wondering why you said the forum is part of the game where there is no Lakoo staff taking care of it.

    So you mentioned if there is any issue user shall email of tell Lakoo under "Bug & Suggestions". How can you prove to your user that you will reply in 24 hours? A simple complaint in your forum, you can't even reply to it until you need us to email to you only you come here to reply. By the way, you said "Bug & Suggestions"? Means you only look into that thread? Rest of the thread you don't have to bother? And you expect all your user is such brilliant like you where they will only post under "Bug & Suggestions" section? Then, why you create a forum?

    Do you have any prove that you check the forum everyday? Frankly, you might not have to tell us. To us or maybe to myself, i don't think you check all the time. You said 'I prefer not take part into this kind of discussion'. Can you explain what you mean by this kind of discussion? You threat our discussion is not important is it? Well done man, you done a great job. Again, what is a forum for if a staff is not replying?

    Ask you, what is a team work is? So you're just a customer service. Do you think we (user) should ask your technician? By just asking will that cost you money or take a long time? Kos, should your manager not to pay your salary? Think for it, you are not helping your team at all then... Are you just doing your paid job? Other than that you don't have to bother? OMG, thats why you so FAT (i hope the photo is not you) because you just sit there did nothing.. Of yes, maybe just wait for lunch hour and keep eating...

    5) It is our mission to make a better communication platform between you and us

    Lakoo mission? By not replying to your user, do you think it is a better communication platform? Thank god. You have a good forum to get engagement but you are not using it.

    Now i want to tell you Kos:

    1) Please find out what is a customer service job description

    2) Find out also what is forum. Especially on social media

    3) What is a team work

    4) How to work as professional

    If you don't know the answer, you better quit your job Kos. You are paid but not doing your job at all.

    ☆, you're saying the right thing and wondering why you said sorry to your recent post.

    A user will feel much more happy if their feedback being take or not if they can hear just thank you email or reply. This is just part of a customer service job. 

    I don't have to type much whether Kos, Lakoo did that or not because the fact is all here and all the user know how Lakoo react for every single post in the forum

    Hi guys this is GodMage or was until recently I was a true loyal player to empire online bought silver on a regular basis suggested ideas to lakoo all to hopefully help lakoo see progress with their game I had 4 lv55 characters and been playing since January of 2011 when lakoo released the English version of eo well I have sold my account and have moved on with my life although I can't say I have quit eo BC I haven't I still have an alternate lakoo I'd with lv36 @ a lv35 that I don't plan on seeing through to 55 until major progress is made on the server now lakoo is taking away titan along with abyss and im sure god dog is next. All that is being done on the game now is pointless drama being made between empires it is sad since there is really nothing else we can do to keep busy can't say I blame those who choose to feud and create drama and strain in game friendships. Until further notice I am done I have deleted the app from my iPhone and will touch base on forums from time to time to see if anyone else's opinions change but for now I see alot of unhappy players and wouldn't be surprised if lakoo sees alot of "og" player inactivity the way I see it lakoo is back to square one with there game

    Basically kos avoid our questions here and blaming us for post the queries at the wrong forum!
    Ok, ok, i will follow you just for this time. Next time i will force kos much more pressure( Kos better change your attitude toward players or prepare to find a new job lol ) am I being too generous? Some people won't give kos next time.

    Checking email daily hah? But not planning to defend your point i mentioned above? Thats mean what i said there is correct isn't it?

    Remember, you have a lot of people around there will look into this forum and this will actually spoil your company reputation. I will keep up complaint till you reply.

    Also, did you look at Empire Junkies website? Their forum even can get more active user compared to here because user there are sharing everything. That is what a forum is.

    Frankly, if i am your manager Kos, i will give you a warning letter and if there is no improvement from your side, you might be sack. For now, you're putting your head on a chopping board you know

    i didnt know you're a customer service officer kos. cause i think the jobscope for GM and customer service officer is totally different.

    im personally working as a customer service officer as well. so practically, i can just comment that Lakoo provides no customer service at all.

    Customer service is suppose to attend to your customers but we are not attended at all. if you say that this forum is mainly discussion area for players, why on the homepage of this forum it says: Welcome to Lakoo Customer Service. when theres no one attending to the customers at all. lol.

    and regarding to cs@lakoo.com email service, i've emailed countless times and just cleared 500 of lakoo's mail recently. cases that aren't closed, i dont think we should be asked to participate in the survey at all. but the surveys just come right after 1 of lakoo's reply. theres no closure of case/issue before the survey comes. and what feedbacks u will get from us? negative.

    and even with negative feedbacks from the survey, is lakoo going to do anything? so far throughout this game, it seem to us players that lakoo doesnt care much for english version.

    and events for recent like st patrick's event and international woman's event, its seriously lousy. i cant be bothered to do at all.

     

    The main thing that mades lakoo fails is that, either they failed to understand the customer's Needs and Wants OR they just cant be bothered. Patience is something that u cant buy from us. u made every lose patience, faiths, enthusiasm in the game. look at the turnover rate of veterans in this game.

    perhaps higher management in lakoo should come out and speak to us since customer service doesnt work for us and we dont see any point speaking to customer service here. we're struggling to keep this game going, but what is lakoo doing on his part?

    I am almost in tears when i see this thread. At least, there r people who feel that we need answers. For players, that spend a long time in game, its juz boring. In the past, I used to be able find teams for instances...but those people started leaving the game or spend lesser time. I have to solo those instances. If not, I will farm at nightmare or peach blossom. The game is beginning to lose its beauty. There no excitement..its not enjoyable. What makes me wanna stay in this game r the people who are playing. I would want to have fun leveling and team up with them.

    The majority of us that started playing...have spend our heart, time and real money. In the virtual world of eo, we make characters to test our strengths and weakness. We venture  into quests and wanna clear it to our best abilities. We love our characters..that‘s why lakoo, please make us know when does level cap and new class be introduced.

    It seems that Lakoo is not planning to defend their problems here.

    So it is totally confirm that Lakoo agreed and admit where their team now is facing such problem like:

    1) Poor on customer service - Team are not replying to their user enquiries from forum, email, etc

    2) Lakoo Forum is totally useless and inactive - Team never use their forum in terms of engagement. They leave their user to help and guide themselves while the team do not do anything. The only thing they did is on marketing purpose where announcement on new quest only.

    3) Lack of teamwork - When asking about when is the hotline will be available, one of their staff mentioned that it is not their job as a customer service (technical job). As a customer service - email, phone, forum (community) is all in one. But according to Lakoo, phone is not part of their job. What a laugh

    4) Promises made from Lakoo is a lie - Team mentioned (or at least a person represent Lakoo) that forum are checking daily basis. Due to no reply on user threads, it show that the team is lying to the users. Even urgent thread posted, Lakoo took at least 2 days to reply on it.

    5) Don't even know what is their role and responsibilities - Notice that there are few customer service in this forum, but hardly to see them online or replying user threads. So what is a customer service task is? Without a hotline, the team should have more time on replying to the forum threads but it still the same. No engagement at all between the team and user.

    6) Lakoo team is not working in a professional way and lack of managing skills - When there is a problem occur, Lakoo only will blame to the department. Hotline issue, customer service said it is technical job and non related to them. If the team need user suggestion, they will take it but wheather to use it or not, there is no reply from them. What for asking the user ideas?

    Short word to describe to Lakoo staff:

    1) Lazy

    2) Irresponsible

    3) Poor on management

    4) No team work

    Lastly, Lakoo should thank to us (the user) who actually help you to find out your problem and to make your company (or product) to get improve.

    Hope you will improve in near future. Staff like Kos, DJ or the rest.. If no improvement, i think you can start looking for new job. Good luck to you!
