Over the last 6 months, I have been dealing with Tapjoy and Lakoo concerning applications I had purchased in-game. I had purchased several applications that did not properly award gold, I was told by lakoo to contact tapjoy. Upon contacting tapjoy, both via the 'missing gold' add-on, and tapjoy's customer service email, I was informed the problem was not theirs, but lakoo's. Both companies blamed the other and refused to help me recover or compensate me. I was told that in order to recieve compensation I would need to send iTunes reciepts, as proof of purchase. Not only did I send the iTunes receipts, I send other screenshot of proof of purchase to both lakoo and tapjoy. Lakoo said they would facilitate the recovery, or the rewarding of my gold. This is what lakoo did: I was sent an email my tapjoy saying that over the last 4 month in question, Lakoo had only send one email about my problem. FOUR MONTHS!! ONE EMAIL!! Lakoo, repeately told me they were in contact with Tapjoy and facilitating. I send them emails several times asking for progress reports, or copies of the emails they told me they had sent to Tapjoy. Instead I was repeatedly told to be patient and Lakoo would resolve my problem. Lakoo then sent me email saying they couldn't help me, NO WONDER THEY ONLY SENT ONE EMAIL IN FOUR MONTHS!!!! What kind of scam is that? Lakoo in an email, admitted they were buiness partners with Tapjoy and had no influence over Tapjoy rewarding the gold. It looks like neither party cares about rewarding my gold, I spent $ and all Lakoo and Tapjoy cares about is the $ in their pockets. I have spent a lot of $ to support empire online, and Lakoo disregards my support in favor of Tapjoy. Tapjoy then sends me 5 months later an email saying, it's it not Tapjoy's fault THAT I CHOSE TO USE THEIR PRODUCT, AND THAT IT DID NOT WORK. They then blamed these faulty apps on connection problems, and how the developpers of the apps were at fault (yet never bothered to tell them about my problem, after repeatedly asking them to forward my problems to their several developpeds) becuase it would interfere with their buiness relationship and could cut future revenue if these developper's knew Tapjoy was a BIG FRAUD. Tapjoy has asked and received my itunes receipts, asked to see pictures, which I have sent. And have blamed everything on other companies, and even blamed me for using their program.
Here is what I am asking, first off, Lakoo must end their relationship with Tapjoy. I know of several players who have sent itunes receipts to Tapjoy, only to have Tapjoy turn down their request for their gold because of lies they made up. Secondly, Lakoo needs to put pressure on Tapjoy to return the gold that is owed to players who play their game, support their game, and even spend their $ on. Thirdly, I would like Lakoo and Tapjoy to compensate me on 6 months of lies, empty promises, deceipt, and in tapjoy's case fraud. Lastly, I would like those who use forums to post their problems in dealing with Lakoo or Tapjoy concerning the recovery of gold, or $. I originally asked Tapjoy to refund my money by either awarding me itunes $ or placing the $ back onto the credit card. They said that would never happen and any resolution to my problem would not award me financially for the $ I have spent. Hmm, that is a total SCAM.
